Sustainability

Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals

Our community and sustainability activities are framed around the United Nations SDGs, recognising that civil engineering has a direct role to play in achieving a more equitable and sustainable world.

Sustainable development principles are woven into both our teaching and professional practice — from low-carbon materials in construction modules to environmentally sensitive drainage design in consultancy work.
